This book is a hidden gem. It’s rare to find a character-driven novel that grabs you so hard, you can’t put it down and find yourself at three in the morning craving the next installment. There was not a dull moment to be found in the flashbacks, duels, and Slicy’s heartwarming character development. I absolutely grew an attachment to the characters and can’t wait to see what Brandt has in store for us in the sequel!
I don’t normally read fantasy books, but this one was amazing. Kept me on the edge of my seat with crazy plot twists on every page! Would highly recommend.
I read the first book and have been waiting for the second. I enjoy the characters and I’m looking forward to the next one!
